Come along and enjoy welcoming spring with some revitalising and restorative yoga practices.
We can all enjoy the journey of finding inner peace, no matter where we start from on this particular day.
Every day is different. Our body may be feeling stiff or more mobile than usual; our mind may be feeling busy and stressed, or quite calm and focused.
No matter where we each start from, we come to the yoga mat with physical, mental and emotional ‘baggage’. But we can leave that at the door for a few hours; we can come as we are, at this moment in time, and enjoy the process of coming to a place of greater inner peace through yoga movement and postures, pranayama and meditation.
What’s included:
• mindful movement and postures
• beneficial breathing techniques (pranayama)
• mindfulness and meditation practices
• restorative relaxation
• refreshments

About Alyson
I’m Alyson Tyler and I’m a qualified and insured yoga teacher and massage therapist. I have been teaching yoga for over 15 years and encourage everyone to approach yoga with a lightness of heart and to enjoy what their own body and mind can do at this specific point in time.
I don’t hold with conformity and believe each person knows and understands their own body best. I teach a compassionate, person-centred yoga: if there's 10 bodies in the room there's 10 different expressions of the posture or movement. I will not insist we all have our feet pointing in exactly the same position for example.
The ethos of my classes is to facilitate the unity of the breath, the mind, the body, and your ‘self’ (or your spirit, your soul). And to do so with as much ease and comfort as possible.
Extra info:
There will be chairs available so you don’t have to sit on the floor if that’s not comfy, and some of the postures can also be done using chairs or the wall. The classes will be suitable for everyone including those new to yoga and mindfulness and those with previous yoga experience.
Mats and other yoga equipment will be provided, or bring your own if you have it. Please bring a blanket or shawl, water bottle, and notebook and pen if you wish. Wear comfy warm clothes/layers.
Refund policy: Full refund with a week's notice. After this, if you need to cancel and I have a waiting list I will give a full refund. If you have to cancel with less than 24 hours notice and I can't fill the space I will refund half your fee. If you have to cancel on the day I will have to charge the full fee I'm afraid.
