
This is an open level class to help relax and also feel revitalised. The class includes beneficial breathing, mindful movement and relaxation. This class is suitable for pregnant women from 12 weeks onwards. The class is also suitable for beginners to yoga, as well as people with more experience. You will learn helpful movements, postures and breathing techniques to bring some calm to your life, help you de-stress, whilst also improving flexibility and strength.
Why choose this class? Some people say they have the best night's sleep of the week after coming! It's a small, friendly, relaxed class and you can take things to your own level.
Cost £7 / £5 (concession)
Bookings close 1 hour before start of class. You can book several classes in one transaction and also book for a friend.
This class is at the Wellness Centre Dumfries, in the town centre. The address is 9 George St Meuse, George St, Dumfries, DG1 1HH. Pedestrian/cycle entrance is from George St: go through a courtyard entrance and walk 30m towards the centre. No parking in the courtyard, please find a spot locally. Note there is not pedestrian entrance from Church Crescent (main road).
NB: if this class is fully booked there is another class on Fridays - same time and venue. You can also join the wating list, which ends 1 hour before class. If you don't get a place your card will not be charged.
You can also use the Dumfries class package for this: pay once for a package of 4 classes then register as and when you can attend. This saves you a bit of time and money. (There is also a concession code given in the package description for low/no income people.) Note you need to have an account on this site to buy and use packages. If you prefer not to create an account, just book and pay for classes as and when you can attend.
