This class focuses on the arm balance crow (bakasana). It can be a challenging posture if you've not done it before, but, I offer various modifications so that you can experience it at different levels. Don't be put off if it's new to you, give it a go.
The class starts with some focused breathing, then we prepare the body with some supine postures and core focus, followed by some kneeling and standing postures and prep for the wrists and arms. We spend some time trying crow, and then relax the body with some counter poses and sivasana at the end.
You may want a firm yoga block under the feet, or a big hardback book. Some people like a folded blanket or something soft at the top of the mat for during the crow posture (in case you go forwards), although I forgot to mention this in the class.
(NB at the end there is mention of a 1 hour crow and side-crow class which will be uploaded in the future).
