Post work / end of day yoga (60 mins)

This yoga class is ideal for doing at the end of the working day, or end of a busy day or week, although it's also nice for any other moment.

The classes focuses on moving the body gently in a range of ways including through the sun salutation, but also focuses on relaxing the body and mind with soothing postures which help dial down our stress response, activate our relaxation response, and down regulate our nervous system. This includes calming breathing practices to start and close the class.

The class is open level, and you can adapt elements as necessary.

Energy requirement: gentle

You will need a chair or wall, and a big cushion, pillow or similar. You may want something for under your knees like a folded blanket, and a yoga block or firm cushion for sitting on.
