If you want to move the body through the salute to the sun but without coming down to the floor kneeling, or into cobra or into downward facing dog, this is the sequence for you!
This version replicates the intention behind each stage of the sun salutation, but adapts it to avoid load bearing through the arms, or kneeling.
I lead you through two rounds (so four times in total) of this version of the sun salutation. Your spine will be lengthened up, moved into flexion (forward bend) and into extension (back bend), and gentle inversion (head and heart lower than hips), but without the faff or trouble of coming onto the floor.
You'll need to be near a chair, or table, or edge of sofa or bed for one part of the sequence.
This version is ideal if you have knee issues, wrist or arm issues, or any other reason!
