
Join local yoga teachers for a day of yoga to raise fund for the Nepal and Tibet flood disaster.

Thousands of people are missing, many are dead and communities have been devastated after sudden flash floods struck Nepal's Rasuwa district, as well as parts of Tibet.
Dumfries yoga teachers are getting together to host a yoga fundraiser for the British Red Cross disaster relief fund.
Some of the yoga teachers have previously been to the area affected, including to villages that have been swept away.
Date: Sunday 20th September, 10.30am till 2.30pm
Location: Lincluden Community Centre, College Road, Dumfries, DG2 0DL
Veggie/vegan lunch and refreshments provided

The day will include a mix of asana (postures and movements), pranayama (breath practices) meditation, and kirtan (chanting).
Donation: £15 low income, £30 average income, £40 higher income earner
All ticket price money will be donated in full to the British Red Cross Nepal fundraiser. All costs (room hire, food, teacher time etc) are being met by the yoga team.
Please book in advance, so we that we can cater for the right number of people. Places limited to 35.
Some mats will be available but please bring your own if you have one. Bring any cushions and blanket you want for comfort during seated practices.
